From Kate: The Wylie Chamber of Commerce has provided me with a platform and forum through their networking events, leadership program, and volunteer opportunities, to learn more about our community, develop meaningful relationships with other business owners and citizens, and fostered both my personal and professional growth.
 

From John: The Wylie Chamber of Commerce has given me exposure into the community that I could not have done on my own. Plus it’s introduced me to people and businesses that I can trust personally, and confidently refer to my clients.

The chamber has increased professional relationships across industries.  From Susan: We now have a greater referral portfolio to offer our clients if they need help/work or partnership in other industries. A lot of times, clients will ask us if we know someone who does X, Y or Z because they trust us and our opinion; the Wylie Chamber of Commerce has broadened our ability to further help our clients and our local business leaders!

I have been designing websites and assisting entrepreneurs with marketing for over 15 years. Prior to that I worked in the technology industry doing sales and marketing for local internet service providers and data centers. My educational background is in merchandising and marketing as well as entrepreneurship from Northwood University and the University of Texas at Dallas. I enjoy continuing my education by studying the latest software tools and trends in online marketing. Having an entrepreneurial spirit my entire life, serving small business owners and other entrepreneurs has become a true passion. I am looking forward to helping you succeed.

From Andrea: The relationships I am building through the Wylie Chamber of Commerce have not only led to new business opportunities but have also deepened my understanding of local needs and priorities, enabling me to contribute more effectively to the betterment of our community.

Mary grew up in Georgia and served during the Vietnam War in the United States Air Force from 1968 to 1972. She is a Vietnam Era Veteran. She was married to Donald Joseph Lange for fifty years. They met while serving in the Air Force. Donald passed away January 2022. They were married for fifty years. She is the proud mother of Donald James Lange of Wylie, Texas and Dawn Marie McKee of Garland, Texas. She has six awesome grandchildren.

Mary is a charter member of the American Legion Hale-Combest Post 315 Wylie, Texas and American Legion Auxiliary Hale-Combest Unit 315 Wylie, Texas. She serves as Texas Boys State Chair and Oratorical Chair for American Legion Hale-Combest Post 315 Wylie, Texas. She serves as Secretary, Finance Officer and Texas Bluebonnet Girls State Chair for American Legion Auxiliary Hale-Combest Unit 315.

She was one of many that were part of the building and brought to fruition the Veterans Memorial in Wylie, Texas.

From Harvey: The Wylie Chamber of Commerce is not only a networking group, but it’s a networking family.

From Andy: I have always wanted to get more involved in our community and the Wylie Chamber of Commerce has given me that opportunity. The Chamber has also created new friendships and networking opportunities. This is the best business decision I have made!
