New Look, Name Signify Wylie Area Chamber’s Growth
With nearly 50 years of service and growth behind it and a bright future ahead of it, the Wylie Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the unveiling of its new logo, a visually captivating design that encapsulates the Chamber's commitment to progress, community, and economic vitality and a new name: The Wylie Area Chamber of Commerce. The Board of Directors voted to officially change the registered name to Wylie Area Chamber of Commerce to demonstrate that the Chamber is an advocate for all businesses, whether they are located in the city of Wylie or not.

“We are so excited to incorporate ‘Area’ into our business name,” says Tina Stelnicki, IOM, CEO of the Wylie Area Chamber of Commerce.  “Many of our members have businesses outside Wylie; however, they realize the value their membership investment brings to their business, and they want to be included in what we’re doing here.”

The new logo continues with the Chamber’s familiar color scheme and adds the new name with a clean, modern design and lettering optimized for social media and digital display. The most notable change is that the logo is not contained in a box. The logo conveys that like Chamber members, the organization is dynamic and ever-changing to ensure they provide the tools, programs, and events members find valuable.

“Businesses join the Wylie Area Chamber of Commerce because they want to network and connect with like-minded business professionals who are looking to promote their business in Wylie,” adds Stelnicki. “I anticipate that this name change brings to the forefront of people's minds that we are open for all businesses, no matter their location.”

The Wylie Area Chamber currently serves 423 members. The unveiling of the new logo marks an important milestone in the Chamber's journey of growth and transformation, signaling its renewed commitment to serving as a trusted partner and advocate for businesses throughout the Wylie area.

The Chamber is currently updating and refreshing many of its programs to better serve members, both large and small. Some programs will continue with the same format; however, this new logo and name change reflects the spirit of optimism, growth, and forward momentum that will define the Chamber's mission and vision for the future.
