We are a family-focused taekwondo studio expanding our services to support our community. We want to provide a dedicated space for any student who needs after-school homework help or extra study time. Our new After-School Tutoring & Homework Help room is a calm, supervised environment where students can focus, get guidance, and build strong study habits. 
This role will assist elementary, middle and high school students with homework, provide basic tutoring, maintain positive learning space, and ensure student safety. 
Key Responsibilities 
- Supports students with homework and school assignments 
- Provide light tutoring in core subjects (reading, writing, math, science)
- Maintain a quiet, structured atmosphere 
- Supervise students and ensure their safety 
- Communicate with parents and/or studio staff when needed 
- Keep the room organized 
Start date
- ~Beginning of January 
Schedule 
- Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM 
- Fridays may have flexible hours 
Compensation 
- Final Compensation will depend on experience 
Qualifications 
- Experience working with children (tutoring, coaching, babysitting, after-school programs, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and patience 
- Able to assist with K-12 academic subjects
- Responsible, dependable, and organized 
- Background check required (studio will arrange)
Preferred but not required 
- Prior tutoring experience 
- Bilingual abilities
- Education or childcare experience/certifications
