About Small Business Week:

Small Business Week, observed from May 4–10, 2025, is a time to honor and celebrate the significant impact small businesses have on our local economy and community. Small Business Week in Texas recognizes the contributions of over 3 million small businesses that employ nearly half of the state's workforce.

In Wylie, the community comes together to support local entrepreneurs through various events and initiatives, such as the #IShopWylie campaign. By shopping and dining locally, residents can participate in contests and receive free Wylie-themed t-shirts as a token of appreciation.
