Then you should attend our annual Ambassador 101!

We're looking for business representatives to join our growing volunteer group of Wylie Chamber Ambassadors! Being an Ambassador for the Wylie Chamber of Commerce involves serving as a representative and advocate for the Chamber within the community. Ambassadors play a crucial role in fostering positive relationships between the Chamber, its members, and the local business community. Here are some key aspects of what it means to be an Ambassador for the Chamber:

Community Engagement: Ambassadors actively engage with the local community and businesses to promote the Chamber's initiatives and events. They serve as a bridge between the Chamber and the community, helping to strengthen ties and build a supportive network.

Chamber Promotion: Ambassadors promote the benefits and values of the Wylie Chamber of Commerce to both existing and potential members. They help create awareness of the Chamber's programs, services, and events to encourage participation and membership.

Networking: Ambassadors are often involved in networking events, mixers, and other gatherings organized by the Chamber. They facilitate connections between businesses, encouraging collaboration and partnerships within the community.

Member Support: Ambassadors provide support and guidance to new and existing Chamber members. They may help businesses navigate Chamber resources, understand the benefits of membership, and maximize their participation in Chamber activities.

Event Assistance: Ambassadors may assist in organizing and executing Chamber events, such as ribbon cutting ceremonies, monthly luncheons, and signature annual events, including the Annual Awards Banquet and the Wylie Championship Rodeo. They contribute to the success of these events by ensuring smooth coordination and fostering a positive atmosphere.

Advocacy: Ambassadors act as advocates for local businesses and the community. They may represent the Chamber at public events, meetings, or discussions that impact the business environment, voicing the concerns and needs of Chamber members.

Relationship Building: Building strong relationships is a fundamental aspect of being a Chamber ambassador. They connect with businesses, community leaders, and other stakeholders to create a supportive business environment.

Education and Information Sharing: Ambassadors stay informed about the latest developments in the local business community and share relevant information with Chamber members. This may include updates on economic trends, regulatory changes, or opportunities for businesses to thrive.

As a part of our volunteer group, you'll actively participate in community engagement, promote the Chamber's initiatives, foster connections between businesses, and provide support to Chamber members. Ambassadors play a vital role in creating a vibrant and collaborative business environment within the community. Join us at this workshop to learn more about how you can further serve, represent, and support the Wylie Chamber of Commerce and its efforts to connect businesses and the community. 

Any representative of a Chamber Member Business or Non-Profit (in good standing) can participate.
