SPEAKER: Denise Boensch
TOPIC: Why Leaders Matter

Denise Boensch serves as the Program Director in the Leadership Experience and Development (LEAD) department at Children's Health in Dallas, Texas.

In this role, Denise develops programs designed to strengthen the competencies that leaders need to achieve enterprise operational excellence results that matter most. These include a leadership academy, an executive mentoring program, and a leadership coaching series.

Denise earned her Master of Science in Organizational Development and Leadership from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She holds certifications in 360 feedback, Situational Leadership, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, The Five Dysfunctions of a Team, and BEST Styles.

Denise and the team received consecutive BEST Organization for Leadership Development Awards through the National Center for Healthcare Leadership.

Prior to joining Children's Health in 2011, Denise served in organizational development and leadership development roles at hospitals in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
