CoServ sets up Relief Fund for Members and Customers
Many of our neighbors have lost their jobs and can’t cover everyday expenses. To help these residential Members and Customers during this challenging time, CoServ has established the CCF COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund. (Note: This only applies to residential accounts)
Working through the CoServ Charitable Foundation (CCF), CoServ has designated $200,000 to seven social service agencies to help provide financial assistance during this challenging time. Members and Customers financially affected by the pandemic are encouraged to contact one of the agencies listed below. The CoServ Charitable Foundation is an IRS-recognized 501(c)3 charity. All donations are tax-deductible, as allowed by law.
In addition, please know that CoServ:
- Has extended the suspension of residential disconnections for nonpayment through Thursday, April 30, 2020
- Offers payment due-date extensions that will give customers the time they need to initiate the application process and receive assistance
- Has created a secure online form that allows one-time tax-deductible donations to the relief fund by Members and Customers who would like to contribute. Log in to your SmartHub account for details.
