DESCRIPTION:Due to the overwhelmingly positive response we received from our gourmet cheese plate we thought it would be a fun experience to host a CHEESE CLASS at the winery. During our many visits to Central Market this past year we met and became friends with Lisa Matras who currently works at Central Market as their in-house Cheese Specialist. Lisa recently earned the Certified Cheese Professional designation granted by the American Cheese Society. Lisa has made many recommendations to our cheese lineup and has helped us learn much about cheese since we met. Naturally when we thought of hosting a cheese class we immediately asked Lisa if she'd conduct it. \n\n\n\nThe course Lisa has designed for us will cover topics such as:\n\n\n\n  Cheese Basics\n\n  The History of Cheese\n\n  Cheesemaking\n\n  Different Cheeses of the World\n\n  Buying and Storing Cheese\n\n  Designing and Serving a Cheese Platter\n\n  Proper Wine and Cheese Pairings\n\n\n\nEach participant will receive eight delicious cheese samples from around the world\, eight samples of our wines\, as well as course material to take home for future reference.\n\n\n\nWhere: 96  West Winery\n\n103 N.
