SUMMARY:2026 Congressional Art Competition for High School Students
DESCRIPTION:Each spring\, a nation-wide high school arts competition is sponsored by the Members of the U.S. House of Representatives. The Congressional Art Competition is an opportunity to recognize and encourage artistic talent in the nation\, as well as in our Congressional District.\n\nThe competition is open to all high school students in our District. The winning artwork of our district's competition will be displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol. The exhibit in Washington will include the winning artwork from all participating districts from around the country. Additionally\, the winner will be invited to the reception in Washington D.C.\, summer of 2026.\n\n\n\nREGISTER HERE by 3/15\n\nImportant Dates:\n\n3/16/26 Registration window closes\n\n3/23/26 Framed artwork is due in our office by 5pm (McKinney Office: 4500 Eldorado Parkway Suite 3500\, McKinney TX\, M-F 9am to 5pm\, Greenville Office: 2410 Lee Street\, Suite 202\, Greenville TX\, by appointment)\n\n3/31/26 Gallery opens for viewing at Blue House Too (in Watters Creek\, Allen TX)\n\n4/02/26 Award reception at Blue House Too at 6:30pm (artwork will remain at the gallery for display until 4/12/26)
